In street fighter there was a color coded bar with 5 sections. If you had a green connection with 5 bars that was the best. The last being red with 1 bar.

Is there something like that in smash wii u? I want to know how much better then ethernet adapter thing i bought is making my connection - compared to the wireless.

I'm finding it impossible to hit confirm anything or do anything on reaction online.

Thanks in advance.

Against friends, you can see the indicator when joining a room. Green is typically pretty great, orange is playable, red's miserable.

No such thing in random matchmaking to my knowledge.

If you have a computer connected to same connection, you can do an online speed test.

Though this won't really give you an accurate representation of a peer-to-peer battle connection, it is a good way to know if any lag is more likely your fault or theirs.
