How to run tournaments with multiple events?

Hi All:

I'm planning a tournament with 4 events - Melee and Smash 4 Singles and Doubles. I'm having a little trouble making a schedule for the day, and trying to figure out how to avoid conflicts for players entering multiple events.

We're expecting about 90 entrants, and are even planning to do pools as well.

Please let me know if you have any tips.

ps. It starts around 10:30 until about 9 at night. I know it's plenty of time, I just need to organize this time and make a schedule from it.

This may be a bit outdated but this could help you later on. You should time it so they don't interfere with each other such as "Melee is at 4:00 and Doubles is at 5:30". But it depends on how many people are there if you only have 16 then it should not take that long if you have enough setups. But if you have 100 people then it may take longer.
