How to replace Marth's sword with a different version from another Marth skin?

I'm wanting to replace Marth's Falchion model in PM's new Sigurd skin with the SSB4-esque one from the Shadow Dragon Marth mod, but I can't figure out how to do it.
I looked through the tutorial section, but got a little overwhelmed, and most of what I was finding involved 3DS Max, which I don't have.
Is there a way to do it in just Brawlbox?
