I've been playing a lot of falco dittos recently and it's apparent I need to perfect my shine dair game.
Of course I have been trying to perfect my shine dair combos while playing falco but I feel I need to step back and practice alone to really understand what option is best at what percents. Also I generally need a better feel for pillaring.

I tried 20xx training mode just to see what I can do at what percents but is this a good way to train? I understand the bots will do some stupid stuff that no person will ever do so I don't expect the bot to be perfect training. Would practicing pillaring from a range of 0-60% on a 20xx computer be effective or am I just wasting my time?

It'll work to get your timing down, but actually applying it to your game will be a lot harder, considering you'll also have to get used to DI.
