i approve. nice choice of music too. perhaps for the next one you could show the text and then cut to the example afterwards instead of showing the text over the video. this would have been helpful when showing the difference between di and no di. o and ness can do the jab-grabs too.

Good job, though. Are you going to explain single characters' techniques too? (Like shine canceling, shdl, DK's infinite grab etc.)

Good idea, this kind of thing is very needed. But the presentation is a bit lacking.

These videos, I thought were very good (instructional vids for Melee chars), you might try making your vids kind of like these:

White text was a bad idea, try using a Black backround, then your explanation...then cut to the scene...it'll look a lot like the melee one..but that was a good video :o

Yeah great idea but I'd suggest what everyone else is saying. Put the text over an easier to read background and THEN show the video.

This is the first movie I have editted I didn't expect youtube to butcher the quality so bad when white text looked fine before

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the vids, and I can't wait for more char specific stuff.

I am just getting into 64, I randomly joined a small 64 tourney that happened at a local Smash event and was amazed by the couple good players and inspired to play it more. I went and got the hacked vc version onto my wii (would buy it if nintendo actually put the **** thing up) and it is the best thing I've done for a while, so much fun. These vids are helping me and my friends start to get good at this game. We might even get a nice little scene going here. Who knows?

There's definitely a lack of easy-to-find info on advanced stuff around here, so yeah, thanks again.

Would have been better if the text was more readable. I had to pause the video and focus hard on some parts just to be able to read it.

I'd recommend using Sony Vegas to add text in. They have a feature that allows you to add text and border it with another color. Using white text with a black border allows the text to be a lot more visible on almost any background.

Other than the text issue, good video.
