So after three full weeks of punishment for doing absolutely nothing wrong I am finally out of the for glory hell. I am afraid to go back again simply by 2-stocking butthurt 12yr olds. Well it turns out that you cannot report each other during tournaments, probably because of time limitations. This may be nothing new to a lot of people, but the ones that know how frustrating it is to be banned, this may be a way to still enjoy the game. There are some new tournament options now, including a lot of 1vs1 for glory tournaments. Just be a little patient between the matches and wait for a tournament to start.

When you're in "For Glory hell", does it affect tournament play as well?

If you cannot enter any tournament whatsoever, you are in for glory hell. But this advice is mostly meant for the people who were banned at least once. It seems the threshold of reports for getting banned once again is lower than before getting banned. If you're a good player, some people will be salty and report you. This is not possible in tournament mode.

Yep, as BadLuckBrian said, you can't enter tournaments whatsoever when you're suddenly in Smash Hell. Can confirm this to be true and even made a small video about it in that other thread, heh.
