How to nerf Diddy's down-throw and/or u-air...

This is coming from a newly declared Diddy main, BTW (hey, I like the well-rounded jack-of-all-stats types in all games, even Mario and Luigi).

I'd actually like it to be done in a way that doesn't completely remove the "hoo-hah", just make it so that it's not an all-percents killing deal. But how to do this?

  • Make the down throw slower?
  • Give the down-throw more knockback growth?
  • Give the down-throw more base knockback?
  • Give the u-air less knockback growth?

This kind of thread doesn't matter since the nerfing / buffing of moves is not something in control of the players.

WTF man, this is exactly what @ChileZeRo is talking about this is not productive at all, so bad that their is a thread where you can say stuff like this.

Really, we cannot control nerfing on our own, as it's solely up to the creators of Smash 4 to make the change. Personally, though, I don't think it needs to be nerfed. Directional influence is actually a primary way (and easy way) of escaping the ol' hoo-hah.
