How To Load Project M on USB Loader GX

On usb loader gx when I open the project M Launcher then press load, my wii goes black and I can't press any button or even turn it off. then I have to disconnect the wii completely. I just wanted to know if I have to wait a long time for it to install in my wii or I have a problem. Thank You

project M loader looks for a disc.
If you're loading from USB you need to configure the usb loader to load the ocarina cheats.
