How to glitch your entire game into mirror mode! :-)

I unexpectedly found something in Spectator Mode which can cause your game to be stuck in Mirror Mode, including menus! Traditionally, I always take advantage of Spectator Mode when new characters are released so I can bet against them and earn easy gold. Well, this time I happened to pause while one of the matches had a Skull Kid mirroring the screen. Apparently by doing that, it didn't get a chance to undo the mirror effect. Once the match was over, I was back to the spectator menus, but everything was stuck in mirror mode!

Strangely enough this glitch would end up impacting every menu (except for tips that appear during load times), and just about every aspect of the game! If I went to the Shop menu or used the Home button, all of those were normal, but returning to the game kept everything stuck in mirror mode. I figured I'd go to Training Mode and try to get that Assist Trophy, but I gave up after a while when I had no luck getting the right trophy. Eventually I managed to fix everything by going to my replays. Pausing the replay would normalize the screen, but unpausing would go back to mirroring everything. Exiting the replay, thankfully, fixed it all since everything was normal while paused.

I'm relatively certain there are other ways to trigger this glitch and to deactivate the glitch, so I'll be experimenting more when I encounter another spectated match featuring the Skull Kid. More to come as this glitch evolves....

Good thing Skull Kid isn't in the fighter roster if his AT self can break the game alone.

I have not been lucky enough yet to spectate another match featuring the Skull Kid, but you can definitely improve your odds by choosing to only spectate For Fun matches (or use the Replay Channel and limit matches from there.) I just know when the glitch triggered, it happened to be in the Wii Fit Studio stage, but I had no success getting that same exact match again.

To illustrate on why I spectated a lot yesterday and today, a picture is worth a thousand words (and 100k gold too!)
