DI and SDI mixups, and try to stay calm.
Half of the game is your mental state. Always try to keep your cool and be patient when you need to.
Practice and take note of your inputs on the left stick so you don't phantasm off-stage.

Marth's utilt strings are probably among the most brutal things in this game at a lot of levels of play. Like NotAnAdmin said, you've really gotta mess with your DI a lot. DI up and either in or away most of the time, probably. I haven't had that many opportunities to experiment with it.
