Anyone have any good resources where a top player talks about their mentality in neutral (preferably as Fox, but not specifically)

PPMD has some great discussion in his Marth thread and the Falco discussion thread about neutral game and how to practice in order to improve it, but it might be hard to find everything you need. Take the time and look through it though, they are probably some of the best resources for improvement in general.

Tafokint's Zero to Hero series is also a good introduction to many abstract ideas like concepts involving reaction time (this vid), which are crucial for an understanding of the neutral game.

I don't have the link, but PPMD has a huge discussion on SmashBoards that talks about the neutral and how to just improve overall. Basically, he said to practice shadow boxing, or try different approaches, etc. I can see if I can find the link, but it's basically a novel on how to get better.
