Okay so now all of the chaos and running around of my morning is over, I'm going to share a great discover I made this morning. So 5 hours ago, Nintendo of America announced a price cut on the 2DS. Kmart mistakenly priced the New 3DS XL to 99 instead.
Kmart is sold out of the New 3DS.
Go into a Target, Walmart, or Staples and ask for a price match on Kmart ad.
I've been hitting up all the Targets around my area all morning.
Walk in, go right to guest services and request a price match. pull out your phone (or print out the ad online), and show them the product, they'll call someone from the back to bring one up. it's important to note Target only excludes clearance items, and this is not clearance. (i didnt have any trouble but I had that quote in my back pocket ready).
I was in and out of each store in 3 minutes, no trouble at all.
I would get on this ASAP. enjoy!

Its always so off putting as a brit that you guys add your taxes after the price tag.

So its technically 120 than actually 100

There is not much chance of this working as stores will double check the deal before doing a price cut this big. Most stores like TRU will not match a deal if it is not available on the competitor's site. They will also realize it is a pricing error, and price-matching policies often state in the fine print that they don't match prices in those cases.

It might be because each state has a different tax amount, and some states have no sales tax at all.

Funny how that works.
