How to get a custom CSS working with project M?

I've been interested in hacking PM 3.02 lately, and I've been particularly interested in this menu: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=7172&Moderated=All

However, I tried to install the menu, and it would end up freezing if I moved my cursor over where Roy, Mewtwo, and other PM specific icons were. What I want to know is, is there a way to get this menu to work properly with PM?

The only way you could do that without freezing would probably be to manually replace the files in Project M's files with the Menu's.

It's long and painful but that's about the only way I can think of to prevent freezing with the menu on those characters you listed.
