How to edit the SSS Display?

Hello, I need help editing the display of the Stage Select Screen, i.e. how the pictures that display on the SSS display (Stage pictures, preview images, universe icons, etc.). I downloaded Libertyernie's 12 Stage Expansion for Project M, and it uses the display for the 36 stage version (the display all in the top left) even though the 12 Stage Expansion doesn't take up any space on the upper half, leaving the top right of the SSS completely empty. How do I change the SSS back to 3.02's? Is it a code change in the RSBE01 or a common5 change?
