I'm somewhat new to smash and still trying to learn everything I can, but I have a friend who plays samus and I play link and I don't know how to keep him from coming back onstage. He just bomb jumps back from anywhere and then can use his tether or up b if I try to go down there. What's the best way to edgeguard samus?

Use your projectiles to snipe her double jump and interrupt bomb jumps and dropzone nair when she's about to to grapple or just grab ledge. Force Samus to recover low and you've already won half the battle.

Seriously, if you're proficient with arrows, they can be ****ing brutal to Samus while she recovers. When she bomb jumps, her movement is pretty damn limited, so it should be easy pickings.

It's not true to say she's limited. Her air mobility goes way up while bomb jumping.
between bombs you get left and right. it doesnt take much practise for a link to arrow you out of just one jump. all it takes
