How to differente Luigi from Mario a bit more..

Well, I know people do complain about Luigi essentially being the same as Mario, even though that's because Nintendo likes to equalize them. I mean, has anyone ever complained about Ryu and Ken being exactly the same?

But... there are ways to make the little differences betwen Luigi and Mario more noticeable for Brawl.

The Combo Move: I think the biggest problem people had with Luigi in Melee is that they made him very... effeminate... I mean, he uses his "rump" (as the guide puts it) as his three attack unlike in Mario, who uses his foot. For Mario it's Punch, Punch, Kick. For Luigi, it's Punch, Punch, Butt. What's up with that? Why not have Luigi use both of his feet?

Fireball: Yeah, Mario's is red and Luigi's is green. Luigi's floats while Mario doesn't. I think Luigi's fireball is worse than Mario's because it floats... it's also slower... so I think they should make Luigi's fireball very fast and go across a longer distance, but still have it float.

Super Jump Punch: I guess this can stay the same as it is...

Forward B: I'm not sure if Luigi should get a new Forward B or if he should keep the Green Missile.

Luigi Cyclone: I guess it can keep the knockback effect, but it should do more damage to compromise.

What do you guys think? I'm also not sure what Luigi's final smash would be... if it'll just be a green version of Mario's... (but that wouldn't be too good in terms of differenating them...) I guess he'll probably used the vacuum from Luigi's Mansion in some way.

Are you serious? That's the biggest problem you think people had with Luigi? So what if he uses his "rump" during his combo move. Heaven forbid a male character isn't perceived as 100% macho in some peoples eyes...Luigi being effeminate is not a big deal.

I mean the statement you just made contridicts with your thread title "How to differente Luigi from Mario a bit more.. "

Overall I feel that Luigi was different enough from Mario. I mean just play as Mario then Luigi you can see and feel the difference. I mean some moves could be added to him in Brawl but nothing as drastic as a complete moveset overhaul.
