My friend was saying this Marth he played against kept DIing out of my friend, who was sheik, chain grab. Whats the best way? Smash DI in the same direction Shiek is facing?

How to DI out of Shiek Chaingrab

You can't smash DI throws because there is no hit lag (on most of them anyway).
I think DIing down and away should work, but DIing up and in might get you on a platform (though that might be bad anyway lol). When I say away, I mean the same direction Shiek is facing since it will get you farther away. Just wanted to clarify that.
