I need to know the relevant files to change the characters' names on the CSS; I only want to change the names right above the icon.

How to Change Character Names?

Those are in common5.pac/sc_selcharacter_en/MiscData[70], after all of the icons. MenSelchrChrNmS.### or something like that.

Thanks a lot. I've started seeing you here recently, and you seem very knowledgeable about Brawl's files and what they control... is there some resource you use, or is it just from experience?
Just from digging around the files and testing to see what changes what. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when I'm installing things like PSAs and models - I like to cover absolutely everything, right down to the name on the results screen.
