If You have to attack to approach then You are doing it wrong with VERY few cases. like when peach float canceling or falco lasering, maybe some key match-ups

Pull back empties wreak spacing. if You master it You can make people run away when they respawn does to things like: samus respawns as puff is dding under her, samus choices to nair/dair to cover if puff is on either side/being able to combo/kill. puff runs to far away or shields and samus whiffs, puff jumps over and around samus as she either d-smashes or f-smashes. Puff now can rest samus. even more fun against fox or ice climbers because you can do it a enough times that they respawn and run away and corner themselfes

if You wanta beat space animals be more techincal, everytime they press A You (rapidly adjust spacing/di/sdi/asdi/shield(di/sdi/asdi)) to the point they can't keep up in trades/damage output.

if You wanta beat marth out space him, he can't afford to make those kinds of mistakes compared to peach, ffers, puff

if You wanta beat puff out zone her in the air so she can't do the same to You
