How should I train my Amiibos if I don't know the best way for that character to fight?

I bought a few Amiibos last night, and I'm looking forward to using them, but I'm afraid that being so inexperienced with Smash is going to lead me to train them incorrectly. I don't really know how the AI works. Should I look up guides for those characters before training them or do I not need to worry about it?

Just fight the amiibo in a variety of situations. You don't need to be too technical to get them to be good.

Just have fun with them. Amiibos do learn dynamically, they don;t get stuck to any patterns after a certain amount of times. They constantly pick up new tactics. So even if you reach a limit, maybe one day you will be better with a character, and be able to train that Amiibo to have better skills.
