How should i paint my controller to reflect my ness?

I was thinking of making the magenta and blue ness my colors, and i figured out, why not make the X, Y, A, and Blue buttons Blue, make the shell magenta, and do yellow stripes in the middle of the controller where the start button is. Post other suggestions where i can coordinate it to my ness.
