How old are the Smash characters?

The only characters I myself know the names of are Ness (13) and Pokemon Trainer (11, if he's actually Red).

Marth as king is 19 , Ike is 17 in his brawl appearance (probably 20 if he appears again), and Roy is 15

PIt and other supernatural beings are probably extremely old/ancient. I always imagined Mario and Luigi in their 30s and Peach early twenties. Mega Man his personality/age based on a child (like Astro Boy).

As for new characters, Wii Fit Trainer is probably in her late 20's or so. Rosalina's implied to be centuries old. Villager's hard to figure out; he looks like a child but can live on his own and be mayor.

Pit: Though an ancient angel, has the body of a 14 year old adolescent.

Little Mac: 17
Lyn: 15
Starfy: 7
Tingle: 35 (he is still single, btw)
Samurai Goroh: 37

Some other have inferred age.

Kat & Ana: < 6 (Kindergartend-age)
Nintendogs: some few months (They are puppies after all)
Metroid: very little time of life? (it is in it's infant form)

If I recall correctly Sonic was 19 and Tails was 12 in Sonic Colours, and then he had a birthday in Generations so that would make him 20 I guess. Unless his canonical age is officially updated I'm just going to assume that he's still 20.

Mega Man is designed to resemble a 10-year-old boy.

Toon Link's trophy in Brawl says that he's 12.

But he's also replaced on the Spirit Tracks stage. He's just a big mix of all the Links from the games that used the art style.

that's likely just to avoid confusion due to them bearing lots of similarities. He uses the wind waker, the hero's bow, the hylian shield and the master sword so i'm pretty sure it's WW tlink

Coming from Toon Link's trophy...

Link as he appeared in The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, with big eyes and an expressive face. He lived peacefully on Outset Island until a bird captured his little sister, and he came to her rescue. In The Wind Waker, he had to crawl, press up to walls, and the like. His green clothes were worn on his 12th birthday and are the lucky outfit of the hero of legend.
