How many trophies do you think there will be?

I think there was around 290 trophies in Melee and 544 trophies in Brawl. My question is will there be like 1000 trophies or will it be closer to Brawls amount? I know some of the trophies are different for the 3ds so maybe it will be 1000 across both versions?

I think there will be over 1000 across both platforms, were some are exclusive, but some are shared. (Character trophies, final Smashes, assist trophy etc.)

Yeah I would be happy with that I love collecting the trophies. In a way, it feels like Nintendo's answer to achievements and trophies. I mean sure it is only for Smash, but it works so well and I'm glad their are some difference because I plan on getting both versions. I would think stages, assist trophies, and pokemon will be different since some of them are exclusive to each version.
