How many of you are giving up your old main to main Pac-Man?

Hey! Just curious as to how many of you are gonna be disloyal to your old mains to main this guy? I have been a huge Pac-Man fan since I was 4 (Now I am 30) and unless I have no absolute zero comfort in his play style I do plan on giving up my old main, Yoshi, to play exclusively as him. Those that remember me from back in Brawl's hay day I was a dedicated pink Yoshi main, even when Yoshi was discovered to be just a gimicky low tier character. This guys inclusion and the cool retro way he was designed has definitely caught my attention enough to drop poor Yosh as my main.

I think it depends entirely on how he plays when I have the game in my hands and get the feel for him. I love the idea of playing as Pac-Man and he's one of my favorite newcomers next to Mega Man and Little Mac. But honestly I can't say if I'm up for maining him based upon the 1 minute long trailer we got for him. Yes he certainly looks unique, and I'm going to play a number of matches trying to get used to him and attempt to main him, but it entirely depends upon how he feels in game and how much more of him we see. I can say confidently that Little Mac has some major main potential due to everything I've seen of him so far, as does Mega Man, all the footage of those two leads me to believe in their main potential, but I still need to see more of Pac-Man before I'm sold, as well as play as him for a while.

Probably. But I'll likely still have my old mains as comains if they're not terrible.

I plan on maining Pac-Man in Smash 4. There's no question. I've never really had any particular main in any of the previous games. I had Kirby in 64, but also played a lot of Pikachu. In Melee I had Mario as a main but also Game & Watch. And in Brawl, well... I never played it competitively to know what my mains were. I was pretty good with Dedede, Mario, and Wolf though.

I still plan on playing all these favorite characters in Smash 4, but Pac-Man will be the one I play most. If Smash 4 ends up being a competitive game, I may try to learn him from a competitive standpoint, but he'll be my main regardless.

I change my main every game, so I'll have no problem adopting Pac-Man. Villager and maybe Little Mac, among others, may be secondaries.

Pac-Man will definitely be one of my mains. I never really chose a main in any previous Smashes so it won't be a problem for me.

While I will be maining Pac-Man (barring any last minute Ridley announcement), I don't really have a choice as far as switching seeing how Snake doesn't appear to be coming back and he was my main in Brawl.

Definitely my main. I'm switching from G&W to Pac-Man, but I'm keeping pit and adding robin as a main.

I'll do better, I'll main Pac-Man AND keep my Brawl main which is Sonic and I'm maining Megaman and Mario too, I'm determined to main the big four, and if Rayman DOES get in and those trophy pics are just teases then he's added to my priority list as well.
