How many forglory 1v1 have you played? And post which character you think you fight the most.

According to the records on for glory i've played

4,687 1v1 matches (i have no life)

163 hrs of gameplay

I swear I face captain falcons the most, (mewtwo is up there however since the dlc) I guess thats why i find them so easy to beat. So predictable.

I think I have about 3500 for glory games played, I have 4200+ total though. But on 3DS I have 3400.

I actually really love playing on For Glory, regardless of not being about to pick starters and CPs.

How people have matches in the thousands is beyond me. I can only play 20-30 matches at most in one session before I start getting stressed out, so I have a total of just over 500. I only started playing lots of FG about a month ago, though. I'd also find it interesting to know how many matches people play per day in order to have a total of 3,000+.

edit: I agree with OP that Falcon is the most common character. I had some trouble with him at first, but he's gotten pretty easy for me to read more recently.

I've played between 500 and 1000, I think. Not at my Wii U right now to check.

The characters I see the most are Mac and Link. I see a good number of Shulks and Villagers as well.

Curiously, I don't see many Falcons, despite the fact that most people seem to think he's the character they see the most. I don't think I'm underestimating how often I see him either because I really don't like dittos very much, and since I play basically only CF on for glory, I always take note of when I see them (and usually switch to a secondary when I do). Interesting that other people seem to encounter him a lot.

Honestly, I think I play a pretty even distribution of characters, overall. I guess I don't see that many Dark Pits or WFTs or Olimars, but I'm still pretty sure I've seen everyone at least once. And I never feel like I'm playing against any particular character terribly much more often than any other.

32 Matches on 3DS. 4 Wins (3 w/ :4ludwig:\:4roy:, 1 w/ :4duckhunt: [which was kindof illegit, because my opponent :4metaknight: barely Side B'd himself off the stage at KO percent on his last stock when he trying to retreat to the ledge.), 5 w/ :4alph: [1 was illegit, because my opponent :4marth: fumbled his recovery earlier than he was known for doing {it was round two}]), 23 Losses. Total Time thus far: 1:09 (1 hour, 9 minutes)

I'll be frank, I find 1v1 boring, because virtually every other fighting game in the world offers it. I'm far more of a FFA and especially Teams kind of guy, due to how rare it is for other fighting games to even offer such modes at all. The most that I can recall that have teams are the Yu Yu Hakusho genesis fighter, Bleach DS 1 & 2, Guilty Gear Isuka (?), Playstation All-Stars, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, MUGEN, and.... that's it?

The few times I really have gone there were just to see 1. what it's like, and 2. whether or not I'm good enough to win with my mains Duck Hunt and Bowser Jr., which I have succeeded in doing at least once for the both of them. I then tried to add a match vid or two for Alph, who in the U.S. servers did NOT have enough match vids to clear out the unplayable replays, as of the time of this post. I managed to add 4 out of the 4 I saved. My most shocking victory was a CLOSE fight against a :4sonic: player as :4duckhunt:, one of the dog's absolute WORST matchups withOUT Custom Specials (with them on, DH's running 3223 or 3222, while Sonic's running 1213 or 1313). We were neck 'n neck, all throughout the fight (including me landing a whole string of FAirs after 1 shot-up Clay at one point), until a fantastically timed BAir from me while he was crouching when both of us were around 125% sealed the deal. The thrill that match gave me was akin to winning the Q VS Makoto MU as Q and Twelve VS Ken as Tweleve (lawl, arcade typo) back in SF3:3S.

I may pop back into 3DS FG 1v1 to try to add match vids for :4wiifit: & :4metaknight:, and possibly anyone else who doesn't have the maxed out 100 vids in the U.S. region in the 3DS version. I may also pop back into FG 1v1 in both versions to see if I can legitimately win at least once with my numerous other secondaries, like :4charizard: (who I did win with a few times in the Wii U version, including a 2 stocking of a :4tlink: player [whose name I'll probably remember once I check the replays] that thought that his Bombs, Boomerangs, and uncharged arrows could stop Flare Blitz, which they can't. Tested that out in Training Mode to figure that out.), :4wiifitm:, :4gaw:, :4drmario:, :4zelda:, :4dk:, and more.

I will admit, actually winning in FG 1v1 is thrillingly amazing. Especially when I do so with characters that either don't show up very often &/or are low or even bottom tiers (I played Q & Twelve in 3rd Strike, Tizoc in Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Hakan in SF4, Anji Mito in Guilty Gear, Fei Long in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and more, so I'm no stranger to playing such characters). Oh, how I would LOVE to use :4miisword: in FG anywhere....

I actually tried duck hunt , I like the character, but i wish they would have made the character play more up close and personal instead of range. I think duck hunt takes tons of effort to win with. I used to play charizard and I like him, the only thing is he lacks a fast kill smash. When I play bowser however i wipe the floor with everyone i meet. His tilts are fast as hell and strong. He has like 5 kill moves especially a kill grab over B is amazing.

I normally play about 30 a day, then i get bored. I used to play like 50 a day because I would play 1 round with a new person and record who that person picked. I then created an excel spreadsheet counting all the characters I met and how many times. I made a thread about it called "for glory 400" i played 400 matches and counted about 22 captain falcons and 20 ness's. I have the whole list on another thread, it even has graphs.. I might do another tally soon but I want to wait till everyone has mewtwo apr 28.

I hate 1v1's, I lose every match I enter because people always use either Little Mac, Falco, Captain Falcon or Zero Suit Satan.

I see alot of people play them, except for falco. You learn to beat the most popular characters quicker than the lesser.

As of right now, I stand at 609 battles with a playtime of 24 hours on the Wii U version. As for the characters I've seen more often from experience, it's most definitely Captain Falcon and Ness with the same overused tactic that is now so easily predictable to punish.

On the 3DS version, I have only 226 battles with a playtime of only 9 hours. Characters I've seen more often is basically the same except I've also seen a couple of Sheiks as well.

I don't play these games online much because my internet sucks balls.
