How many characters will there be?

Any1 any predictions how many characters will there be in total? Im hoping there will be a wide selection.

In SSB64, there were 12. In SSBM, it had over twice as much as SSB64, which is 25 (26 if you count Shiek). SSBB might have around 50 characters.
