How long do you think it will take to be able to make a sandwhich, eat it, get a glass of milk, drink it, call up a friend, talk about the hot chick in your spanish class, and hang up while you're waiting to find someone on Brawl Wi-Fi?

I'm fairly certain that there will be plenty of people to find on WiFi. There are a lot of people in America... the question is, do you live in a desolate state like Iowa (no offense to anyone who lives there)? Location will determine lag, but you'll most probably find someone to Brawl with :b.

Until the game stops being popular. If you're worried about that, then add some people on these boards to your friend list and coordinate something. At least SWF members won't get tired of it :)

There are still large communities of Quake 2 online players, and that game is from like 1995. I think it will last a while.

But what I mean is... How long will it be before people start to stop playing Wi-Fi?
Er.. If Melee was online from the start... we'd still be playing that.

Brawl's Wifi will be played nonstop until the next smash if there is one (doubting it) and even then brawl's wifi will still find matches quick, because so many people will still play it.

People still play Halo PC. halo PC online. And matches are quick with lots of people, weve got nothing to worry about.

Well I'll be using the With Friends mode, so all I have to do is come to Smashboards, which will take maybe 1 min or less to find an opponent. I've already challenged 2 people and they've accepted.

Matchmaking will probably be faster simply because the game's popularity. Some games take a long time, but its only due to the fact that no one is playing.

That's what I'm wondering. If matches are really on 4 player team/F4A, I'm not sure it'll last long competitively.

With Friend Codes, sure. With patience (to enter the codes), that'll always last. But you can't really play too seriously in With Anyone.

until the end of TIIIIIIEIIIIME!

wifi is the way of the future ;)

honestly, what does it matter, when this online service ends, they'll have another more robust one in it's place, it's not like they are going to stop doing online.

once the games been out for a few months there will be lots of people online a lot of people are going to want to get everything first and some will take longer than others but in a month or two everything will take off and there will be lots of online matches.

Don't worry about it, if people stop playing, then there is a good chance you're not gonna be the last one left.
