How is seach hidden character unlocked?

Anyone know? What are the conditions that must be met?

SSE was at around 90% completion and the level I saw being played before Wolf was encountered involved Mine Carts and a room like this:

Sorry it's a bad picture and my description is really vague, but I wasn't paying attention to watching this Japanese guy playing SSE then suddenly HOLY *****, WOLF!

If you showed me the backgrounds to levels on SSE, I could tell you which one it was. (or at least, you'd get an idea from the background of which ones it could be, if different levels share the same backgrounds, which I'm sure they do).

I wish I could have been more help, but when you see a guy playing through the same levels on SSE again and again, it gets kind of boring, especially since I'm just watching someone thousands of miles away.

I think to unlock Capt. Falcon you need to clear Custom mode for the first time. I've seen a video of it on youtube.

Captain Falcon is unlocked on part 2

Its low quality because of Youtube limits. It shows the end of classic mode and then Captain Falcon.
Also, the only character that shows up at the end as a trophy is Pokemon Trainer, so it was the first time that classic mode was cleared.

I was watching a live stream, I doubt there are any videos of what I saw, sorry. Unless someone who was watching at the same time as me was recording, but I doubt that.

My question is, if Captain Falcon is unlocked in Classic mode, then what's he doing in SSE?

I don't think Falcon is unlocked just by clearing classic. I think (just like in SSB64) He's unlocked by clearing classic in under 20 minutes.
