How garenteed is marths chain grab on spacies

By this I mean how frame tight is it? I know you can kill them off of one grab I've seen m2k do it many time. I just get shined when I try to piviot grab them when the don't di or slight I behind me. So yea exactly how frame tight is it

I am will be lazy and not bring up debug mode for this, but rather from memory. Anyway, when I was testing it I believe the frame restriction is about 3-5 frames? Its much larger than I initially thought. Some percentages its harder. I did not do too much testing into this, but I believe you can CG all the way to about 50%. The time someone is in stun increases, but fox/falco also start accelerating at higher percentages. Eventually, you reach a point where your regrab window is like 1-2 frames only at higher percents above 30%.

In practicality, it does none of us any good to memorize those number though. The important facts to take away are the timing is such that its not the realm of TAS. With practice you can CG fox/falco all the time. However, a few bench marks to realize are you absolutely cannot regrab falco from 0% if he DI's behind. And, its physically impossible to regrab Fox from standing if he does no DI at 16%-20%(?). This last statement is true since Marth is fixed in such a way that his grab simply does not reach Fox at those percentages. Kadano for that confirmation :D Which means you must pivot grab him against no DI at that percentage.

I just realized I missed the point of the question, but yeah. Its certainly a large enough window for pivot grab. About what I said before. Not very useful to know exactly how large as it does not improve your ability at all (other than curiosity being satisfied lol)

Pivot grab is possible from 4-22% as well, but I left it out because delaying the grab is way easier and just as reliable at the respective percentages.
