How does song selection work when picking "Random" as a stage?

I understand that there are two songs for every stage, and that you can manipulate which track by holding the R button. This presents me with some questions, though:

-When I pick "random" on the stage list, does it randomly select one of the two possible songs or will it always be the first?

-Can I hold R when selecting random to force the second track? Would it even matter since I dunno what stage I'll get? lol

-In regards to every stage, is it possible to get the second song without holding R (or vice-versa?) What are the chances, seemingly? If so, does not holding R on the random stage work in the same manner in that I would mostly get the first track but sometimes get the second?



I hope I worded these clearly enough. Depending on how they are answered I might have more questions x_x Thanks in advance!

I'd guess it just like how you can pick FD version then pick random. You'd probably have to do the input to get the second song.

If we assume this is the case (not confirmed, I suppose? Does anyone here have a copy of the game?), then that only answers the second question :o

Since there are a few songs that I cannot stand, it's looking like I'm going to have to manually select where I want to go in order to assure I get the song I prefer ._. This will be a hassle, as I prefer just editing my Random Stage Select list and using that. Especially frustrating since every stage is now viable; I want to play them all, but there are some songs I simply hate
