Hi I recently got a 3DS and i was wondering how online and local play works. I have had a DS lite before, and have never used the online/internet feature at all. I never played online Pokemon Battles either so I don't know how those work either.

So for Smash, how does Local play work? Do I just turn on Wireless connection and play with someone near by? Do I need a friend code? How do you add someone anyway? Also, for Online play, who chooses the map? Who chooses 2 stock or 3 stock games? How do you check your ranking in For Glory?

Hi I'm RafalRib and I was sent here to awnser your questions! (Not Really) but here re the awnsers:

1- Local Play for smash only works with people who have the game (Download Play doesnt exixt in this game)
2- Turn on your wireless and play with a friend within a range of 10M away from you
3- You dont need a friend code but its always nice to have your friends on the list! :)
4- Just go to the happy face on the home menu, go to your friend card and add a friend code (The other person needs to put yours too, or else you will not befriend it!)
5-I think that for online play the stage is randomised by each player's choices (Not sure)

For the last 2 questions.... i cant awnser them since i dont have the game! :)

PLEASE UNDERSTAND :4gaw:

For online and local, stage selection is done randomly from those chosen by the players (this only applies when playing with friends). For other online modes (with Anyone), the stage is chosen randomly. For Fun chooses from any stage besides Final Destination, For Glory chooses Final Destination or any stage's Omega form.

If you're playing For Glory, it is always 2 stock 5 minutes. If you're playing For Fun, I honestly don't know, as no one I've seen streaming plays that mode. When playing with friends, I believe it's the host if you're playing locally, and the host followed by each round's loser if you're playing on wifi, though I am not positive on that. If there isn't a more decisive answer by Saturday, let me know and I'll go explore it all and PM you a very detailed explanation, since I'll have access to the game then.
