How Does Bowser's Directional Fire Breath Work?

Once you press B, do you just use the control stick to move his Head?

Same question for Charizard's Flamethrower and Pit's Arrows.

With Bowser's fire, you just aim it a bit up it'll lessen the chance of them DI-ing away up. It doesn't go straight up though. Also, Pit's arrows can be aimed straight up while shooting or the trajectory can be altered after they're shot.

Basically you rotate the stick in the direction you want it to go.
