How do you vidjo-drop?

I've been practicing this for a while and i guess the biggest thing I don't understand is how to attack in the air with a turnip in hand and float at the sametime. Maybe I'm overthinking it all, but I'm not really sure.
Can anyone also tell me what they use vidjo dropping and vidjo cancelling for?

^^ Thanks in advance.

I'm mark, and i like this cookie monsta.
im really rusty, so excuse me if im wrong.

im pretty sure a vidjo drop is when you drop a turnip while floating, right?
im pretty sure that you push z right after you finish an attack
(ex. float -> dair + quick drop after dair -> dair again -> nair) basic combo.

cheers and good luck!

Pull out a turnip .
Jump and hold the button .
Press down to float .
Do a dair or a nair (dair is easier).

Here its getting a bit difficult ...
Every attack IASA Frames (interruptable as soon as)
You have to drop the turnip (z) during those frames
(The dair IASA frame window is a bit bigger so it´s easier).

Note :

Nair IASA 42
Dair IASA 36

Most useful for comboing with rare pulls. There's no easy way to avoid a stitchface immediately after a downair.

Only if you vidjo cancel .
If you vidjo drop the stichface will do damage depending from the height they fell.
So after a dair probably only 1 or 2 % .

Remember : Stichface, Dot and twink face only do more damage (+knockback) if thrown .

Yeah, Shyne is right. z-dropping turnips doesn't take into account what kind of turnip it is, just the height at which it's dropped. It does somewhat more % than 1 or 2, though.

Anyway, vidjo-dropping is useless =P

It's not entirely useless. You can v drop bombs while moving, or float high, v drop keep moving, and use the falling turnip as a barrier from a rushing opponent while recovering.

It's usually a good idea to land shortly after dropping that turnip/bomb/whatever, though. Otherwise, people can just react to it, block it and then continue to chase Peach in the air and wait for her to fall back down.

It would depend on the match up slightly, but usually Peach does not want to stay in the air for long against certain characters.
