How do you SDI a meteor/spike?

I want to learn how to avoid getting meteor'd or spiked so I can land on the stage or tech and come back.

Simply dont get hit by them. You can sometimes survive if your at really low percents, but often its best to try and stay high or an angle where they cant spike you. Your recovery move or air dodge can help as well.

Theoretically, you DI up and toward the stage. Or at least that is what most guides say. Oh, and QCDI in my opinion would be viable and suitable along with c-stick. This is just what I can think.
