So how do you reserve Brawl? Do you go up to a local Gamestop and ask to preorder a game? If so how much would it cost? If there is no fixed cost, then how much did you pay to preorder Brawl?

Gamestop and most major retailers do preorders.

All you need is 5 bucks and its guranteed held for you the day they get it in. But you can pay it off if you want upfront.

Do it quickly though, preorders for this game is huge. Many retailers are cutting them off so they can meet their preorder demand.

You can prebuy the game online from places like Gamestop, although I am not sure if you can preorder it. And it might require them to ship it to you rather than go pick it up, and that means you will get it the day after release since Nintendo went with a Sunday release at best.

But you will probably just go into the store and ask to preorder, pay 5 or 10 dollars and get a slip of some kind. I have not preordered in store in ages so I don't know exactly how that works anymore.

You can order it online, and it will SHIP the day it comes out. Which means, depending on your shipment method, you will get it around 3 days later.

Or you can go to the store, pay off at least 5 dollars of the game, and they will hold a copy for you there.

I did Both! I told my friend that I'd give him the copy I payed off once I get the Pre-Order. He'll pay me for it between now and then.

I think Gamestops are still doing preorders TC.

If not, try Gamecrazy. Both of those chains may be doing midnight launches (depends on each individual store whether they do it or not).

Best Buy and Circuit City also do preorders. I'm not sure if anyone has shut down taking preorders yet, but a lot of store clerks will tell you they are getting close to the cutoff.

Preordering is just nice since it gives you a gurantee. If you only put down 5 bucks, your also not committed to anything (as in you can turn it into store credit if you opt out of buying a game).

So... tempted... to flame... Must resist... But seriously, you just go with a few buck to put down and you ask to pre-order. Simple as that.

I just heard you can pre-order online at best buy and just pick it up at the store on release day. I'm gonna do that.
