how do you move photos to an SD card

put your SD card in the SD port. Navigate to my computer then there should be an icon there that represents the SD card. Open that drive and drag and drop whatever files you want onto it

assuming he's on a laptop with a built in card reader or desktop with a usb card reader

Yes he is right. if you dont have laptop. i mean you have desktop then insert usb card reader and insert card in card reader.
