How do you know if you've been playing P:M too much?

Thought it would be a nice, funny thread to talk about how our lives have changed thanks to this god-send mod.

I work at a deli, and have to walk through bar-style doors constantly, and sometimes my hands are not always free.. so my first action is to slam my knee into it, and while flying through murmor "YEUUSS!".

Im not even ashamed.

When you try to wavedash in real life.

When you jump to get up to somewhere too high because you thought you could double jump.

If you ever do any of those things, then you probably play it too much.

When you get bothered with someone doing a laggy action in real life. For example, you play PM too much if watching someone jump and land and get bothered that it had more than 4 frames of ending lag irl.

When your friends eventually get annoyed that you gush about P:M so much, so you make silly threads like this.

There was this one dream where my family's dog (I'm pretty upset with her for other reasons) was attacking me and I tried to Roy F-Smash it away by doing the motions on a controller...

Yeah I guess I play P:M too much.

When your friends say they are sick of it but you keep convincing them to play more matches despite it being 4 in the morning.

Need I mention that they are not of the same breed of smasher, they are the kind that don't like the skill gap since they feel helpless.

Maybe the PMBR will get into the business of making harnesses to forcibly hold down your friends to the couch?

I was on a trampoline discussing my poorly built social life with some friends. As a lot of guys do, we ended up playfully beating the **** out each other in a totally non-gay way. I went for the Ness back air on my best friend.

It's KO power is not exaggerated.

When you lurk around these forums obsessively and practice techs that you already know you can do 100% of the time

All for the reasoning that your itching to play some P:M but, have no immediate opponents at that very moment in time

My Wii's disc drive broke last week. No opponents? Try not having the opportunity to even take on an AI.

Coincidentally my disc drive is also broken, if you soft-mod your wii you can run P:M via USB it works flawlessly for me
I recommend looking into it considering you own the game you would actually be doing it for the legally intended reasoning behind it

Many true things got mentioned already, but I would add:
- Trying every kind of animation cancels irl
Like starting to go away from dinner as you put the last piece of food in your mouth, starting the computer as you write the last sentence of a text.
Also going for Knee of Justice goals when playing football...
For me, PM has taught me something about timeefficiency in some way but it is clearly a sign I played it too much

"arguably the Best Falco in the World" Actually I'm pretty sure all the best falcos in the world are playing Melee and Project M. Nice try though. And is it just me, or is this entire video in slow mo? Or is that just the aftereffects of discovering how much better Project M is? Did I mention Project M is better?

Yeah, I get completely frustrated any time I try to play a traditional fighting game only to remember there's no DI and combos are inescapable.
