How do you guys hold your controller?

I've been thinking about this and its bothering me. I have both my index fingers on L and R; is that wrong? I see a lot of people using R with their middle finger and their index finger on Z. Is it objectively better to do this and do all the top players do it? I want to know if its worth making the switch.

Personally, I hold my controller upside down.

Most people use thier index fingers for R, L and Z silmply because there is no advantage of using the middle finger. Unless you use claw grip and need your index finger for jumping.

I just hold it normally with index fingers on the triggers. In some cases holding a controller differently can actually be more useful

Middle on R and index finger on Z is amazing, at least I really like that way. I'm much more comfortable using the side of my thumb for A/B (and the tip for Y, and whatever part of the base goes there for the c-stick), than when holding the controller with index on R. And well, so nowadays I can finally do things as fast as I want to do them <3

I have middle on R, indexes on L and Z. I really like having my index on the Z button because that makes it easier to JC grab. Also, I've had Melee since 2003 and have held the controller the same way ever since, so I just never changed my grip.
