How do you get around projectile spam?

When you have no projectile?

Was playing Ganon against a Ness who literally only used pk fire,couldnt get in at all. I suck obviously so how do I not suck so much?Normally I have no trouble getting around projectiles but today is one of those days or something idk

Nah, just learn how to shield, spot dodge, and roll. As an Ike main I generally use a lot of aerial approaches, especially because his sword can eat right through those projectiles. But in your case, stay back, wait for Ness to approach you, shield, and punish. Stay close enough so he can't keep you away with his projectiles, but far enough that he can't reach you with standard attacks.

He means play on the defensive and make good use of your shield. That or you can probably use Wizard's Foot (Down B) to go over the PK Fire and close distance between you two instead. I don't use Ganon so can someone check back to see if that tactic actually works?

I will test it later,taking a break from all the salt and rage that I had earlier from that match.I couldnt give up until 5 matches were lost.I shouldnt have done that.

I shield, dodge, and continue until they run towards me because they're either annoyed or time is running out.

Ganondorf's side-tilt (his kicking attack) can actually deflect a lot of projectiles. Don't know if this includes PK Fire though.

I know your pain man. I fought a guy on Anther's Ladder who just projectile spammed as Megaman. I was able to come close to winning in the two matches I faced him, but I got beat. That's the sort of **** I hate. I tried some dodges, but I just kept getting hit.

Many Projectiles are canceled by Ganon's Down B, (Not a ganon main, i could be wrong) and gives a decent lag, i wouldn't recommend that.

My preferred method against projectile spammers is leaping over said projectile and hitting the spammer with Ganon's forward air.
even if they block it, they won't be able to punish you because the force of Ganon's fist will slide them back and possibly off the ledge, now that your in close you can wreck em. And if they try rollin hit em with a down-b, the wizkick has long lasting hit frames that will hit em before they can execute another dodge.
