how do you change the portraits that appear in a match?

this seems to only be the things project m changed, im also looking for things that were previously in brawl.

you could get them from the data partition on the vault (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/Resources.php) or i usually just copypaste one of the other ones and rename it to whatever i want to replace. doesn't matter what character it's from. they use the same filenames as the csp's in common5 for the most part (mario's would be 001 002 003 etc, dk's would be 011 012 013 etc and so on)

so would it work if i just replaced the csp then? or do i need to go through portrait still? im trying to replace the blue fox that was in brawl with a custom.

you'd still need to replace the portrait. copypaste a battle portrait from any other costume slot, replace the picture in brawlbox with what you want the new battle portrait to be, and rename the file InfFace065
