How do you bring back your teammate?

I was playing a few team matches the other day, and once my opponent died but I had two lives...but then, I remembered about how if your opponent dies you can use a life to bring them back, and then I didn't know how.

So what do you do to bring back your teammate?

In Melee, it was the start button (on the eliminated player's controller). It was kind of a nuisance if your teammate sucked and kept jacking your lives... I'm not sure if this feature is still defaulted in Brawl or not.
