Now that the game is out, I've been wondering how the SSE flows. From what I've seen, it looks as if you start at the same point--the Mario vs. Kirby fight. From there, it seems that you have two different paths whether you chose Mario or Kirby. From the Mario path you go and meet Pit, or as Kirby you rescure Peach or Zelda. I'm not quite sure how other paths operate.
For example there is one point where Fox and Diddy team up. At the end of wherever they split up, do you choose who to follow? So then if I choose to follow Fox, I can end up on another different path than if I chose to follow Diddy?
I also saw the whole stage select screen, with a bunch of little dots for stages. If you replay a stage, are you limited to only the characters that you had when you beat the stage? For example in the beginning as Mario and Pit, they fight in the clouds. Once I beat that level (or just say I beat the whole SSE and unlocked every character), can I go back and pick Pikachu and Link as my characters to play that stage? I think that would add a lot of replay value if they did it that way.
If someone could enlighten me, I'd be quite happy. :D
