I have no idea what I'm doing past copying and pasting the files from a preset .zip. I like the stages in Project M v 2, but I like the playstyle of Brawl+. I'm sorry if this is somewhere I could've searched, but this it's all so overwhelming.
(If you're using Riivolution, replace [root]:\private\wii\app\rsbe\pf with [root]:\brawlmods\projectm\)
In the first folder are the .pac files for the stages. In the second folder are .rel files for some (not all) of the stages.
Most of them you can guess what file names correspond to which stages in game. If not, here's a list:

Once you find the stages you want from P:M, copy the .pac and (if applicable) .rel files to the same folder in the Brawl+ installation (\stage\melee for .pac files, \module for .rel files)
The only thing now is that the stage selection screen will not reflect the stage changes you just made. But i don't know how to do that yet
