How do I understand the character's true potential?

I want to be able to know all the optimal, textbook, standard options, and want to be able to exploit it. by understanding the characters and how they play

Can you be more specific please? Which characters specifically? Can I assume you're playing peach, as she's listed as your melee main?

You need to start putting your time into your posts. If you really want people to help you out, try to phrase your question in a way that is specific and easy to understand. And say thanks and please every once in a while. I thought that would be common courtesy but apparently some people need to be taught manners.
