probably understanding matchups isn't the best word for this question but I just want to be able to analyze a match and be able to know the standard/optional options as well as what mew2king, armada, leffen, mango would do in that situation? I really want to understand and learn with them (how they learn from their mistakes) How do I understand their thoughts and feelings? how do I know if they are nervous/too aggressively/passive or not? how do I know if their movements are clean or not? I don't really understand these things.
I've asked about how to analyze a match and you guys told me to keep track of what person b to to y or something but that doesn't work out for me. for example in set one (iirc) leffen vs sfat get a grab at zero, upthrow 2 times then up smash, punishes the no tech with upair then 3up air combo -->ko
second stock grab at zero upthrows then upsmash, dash weak nair then strong nair
this might be a mixup but omg is it hard to keep track of and identify habits and patterns like this, this is why I want to be able to understand
right off the bat what can I learn that is obvious in plays (i.e armada obviously going to go for a regrab)
