How do I start up a new regional?

I'm the TO of S@PS Weekly, a relatively new weekly that takes place in State College, PA. Over the past 2 months, our weekly has grown very popular with an average of 40-50 Melee entrants per week. Smash 4 and PM usually get about 25-35. I was thinking that I wanted to start up a new regional, something similar to Fight Pitt or maybe even bigger. The only problem is, I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Any advice or tips?

Only tips I can give you : medium-big venue, advertising it, having a stream possibly, make sure it doesn't happen when other regionals are happening, and have a pot bonus. This way players from other states around you will make the trip to PA.

If you want more in depth help, try contacting Juggleguy/Nintendude/Mattdotzeb/other TOs and asking them about it, I'm sure they would love to help you.

You'll need people from all around your region and streaming is key also. And the venue needs to be kind of big not HUGE but you know it has to hold 30-50 people. Prizes will get more people to come. And make sure you don't interfere with other big tournaments so you don't mess them up and it will also help yours.
