how do i short hop double fair as marth

You gotta fair as soon as you get off the ground. It can be tricky at first using only the c-stick, so try using A for the first hit. Some people even use Z.
It just comes down to how fast you can move your fingers from jump to the fair.

Literally watch like the first 20 seconds or so to see what it looks like. Unfortunately, I disagree with how the video refers to its viewers. But, it gets the job done of showing you what it looks like.
Plus, we had this question asked in a separate thread like 2-3 weeks ago.
