How do I play the Fox/Sheik Match up?

Hi. I am a relatively new smasher. I play Fox, and my friend used to play Falco. Recently, he decided to switch to Sheik. In the past, I was constantly better, and I can still beat his Falco. But, when he switches to Sheik, I just get combo'd all over the stage. I feel like I have no time/chance to do anything.

So, I am asking for help. I want to know how to play the Fox/Sheik match up. Anything will help. Links to important sites, good videos, or just written advice. Thanks for all the help!

I'm terrible at this particular matchup as well, but the things I have noticed that need to be done to win is 3 major factors (atleast for myself). 1) Ledgehog when the time is right 2) Practice waveshining like crazy on Sheik because it's one of the best tools you have in your Fox utility belt and 3) Laser game, SHDL and SHL are important to tack on damage and bait out an attack.
P.S. Learning the positioning in the air off stage to prevent fair's and bair's from Sheik is super important too. I've found that being close to the inside of the stage makes it more difficult for her to kill with her bair or fair. If she does hit you, tech the wall and wall jump to safety or grab the ledge and gimp her. These are my thoughts on this

If you're getting combo'd like crazy chances are that you're not teching enough, though this won't solve all your problems.

You can crouch-cancel her dash attack and aerials at lower %s so follow-up with a grab, shine or Usmash.

Sheik's approach isn't great and if you're not on point she can stuff your approach with Ftilt, so practice dash-dancing and/or running forward and wave-dashing back to bait, punish if she whiffs.

Get good at grabbing edge against her so you can punish her laggy upB landing with an Usmash or ledge-hop Bair.

Drill-shine is amazing against Sheik, you can follow up with a wave-dash to grab or Usmash.

My tournament is coming up and the only 2 matchups I'm legitimately intimidated by is Falco and Sheik. I can handle the rest of it
