How do I ensure that a stage I made is Wi-Fi safe?

So this is a question for the experienced stage modders out there. I'm making a stage based off of Project M's Dracula's Castle and I want to make it Wi-Fi safe. I am using Mewtwo2000's version of the stage (Luigi's Mansion) as a base. I haven't edited any collisions (static or animated) and, as far as I can tell, the stage does not lag. Is there anything else I should be aware of?
I also replaced the main platform with one of my own (deleting the original model in the process) would that cause any issues?

Have no idea how to sorry . But in Project M, there is already a custom built Dracula's castle stage if you want to check that out. Link to Pm -> http://projectmgame.com/en/download
Uh, I'm posting in the Project M forum, so I'm well aware that stage exists (in fact, it's the one I'm modifying). I've never played a Castlevania game, so I'm more or less retexturing that stage to resemble another game. I just want to make sure that I can make it compatible with the Wi-Fi safe version of Project M.

If you literally only replace textures, I'm sure it will work, I think it only gets complicated when you make bigger changes, although I've never made custom stages, only character textures. If you want to test it just play with it over wifi. wifi is being shut down very soon, but it's still good to make sure your stage works on wifi since it will mean the stage is the same.

My concern is that I am replacing/deleting models, not just textures. And even though Wi-Fi is being shut down, there are still plenty of people who use netplay or replays. I want to make sure the stage works for those purposes.

I believe that the stage will be wi-fi safe if you don't edit the collisions at all. If you change anything in the stage collision data, you will lose the "wi-fi safe-ness".

Yeah and it's the best way to make sure a stage is tournament legal. I think you need to ask an experienced stage modder how they do it.

While you don't change the STPM, the modeldata 100 or the model with the moving platforms, it should be wifi-safe. Anyway, I know of stages desynching because of changing the scenedata or even having a rain model. CPUs can play differently because of small camera changes, for example, even if the death zones are the same.

So, in order to make sure the stage is completely wifi-free, play a match with 3 cpus in the stage, make it a few minutes long. If the replay keeps the exact play until the end, you can tell your stage is wifi-safe.

So, you don't need to play wifi to test if a stage is wifi-safe. Cause replays are there for that, and there's the cpu factor too.

If editing the scenedata causes desyncs, what is the best way to go about fixing the lighting on the stage? Should I just refrain from adding any new lights or lightsets? I basically just need to turn down the brightness on the platforms and the main stage. I also need to remove the green glow from the characters (and possibly make them brighter). I've edited lighting before, I just want to make sure that I don't break the stage's "wifi-safeness."

Well, don't worry much about scenedatas, cause I've only found desynch once, and what I changed then was the number of frames of the scenedata, and it was on a stage with a changing lighting by default. I've never had desynch otherwise.

Anyway, just check on a replay and you should be okay after testing.
