How do I edit a character's pac?

I downloaded this Bowser but when I use him, the auto l canceling code doesn't apply to him.

If it's not possible to edit the pac, where can I obtain a updated, functioning manual L cancel code?

Auto L canceling isn't necessarily a global code. It's just a modification of values under a character's attributes for each of their aerial attacks. Open up the moveset .pac in PSA, go to attributes, and look for 0x140, 0x142, 0x144, 0x148, 0x150 (at least, I think those are the right values, they're listed there anyways). These are the landing lag values for each aerial (I don't remember which is which though). Just cutting each in half should do the trick.

Because the PMBR has not release a text file for their codes, you cannot put the current manual L canceling code in unless you manually insert it with a GCT->TXT editor. Even then, I'm pretty sure there are some other pieces of code you'll need for it to work properly, much like how just taking their Melee air dodge code won't operate fully.

I see.

I can't find 0x142, but I found the other ones.

You mean like BrawlBox? I don't even know if the manual code works. Atm, I have removed it from my code list.

f I wanted to make it so that I could immediately do an up smash or aerial attack during and/or after finishing down b (like Falco's reflector), what should I edit?

I'm not entirely sure since I haven't done extensive editing in PSA, but you would look in the character's Down B action and I believe you would add in IASA (interruptible as soon as) for those actions at the right frame timings. I don't really know the specifics on doing that though.

I'll do a google search and get back to you on this.

Also, I just tested the attributes modification with the Project M Falco and it works. The only problem is that he comes to a halt when running. I can only run for about 1-2 seconds. Should I leave it the way it is or try to fix it?

Edit:

Hmm, a google search isn't producing much relevant results. Is there anyone I can contact about PSA?
